Operate as part of an emergency control organisation (WARDEN)

Operate as part of an emergency organisation (Warden) is designed to train personnel to perform the role of Warden, but not Chief Warden, in their workplace Emergency Control Organisation (ECO).

This course is designed for personnel who are required to assist with evacuation control during an emergency in the workplace.

This may include Fire Wardens, Supervisors or WHS personnel. It is suitable for all industry sectors.

On site cost: Cost associated with training will be provided on request

Course assessment: The major assessment task for this unit involves a practical evacuation simulation exercise where participants will be given specific roles within an ECO and required to respond appropriately to the circumstances at hand.

Participants will be required to also participate in a post incident debrief and answer a series of oral questions that relate to their role in the scenario.

Validity of training: Recommended to be conducted annually
