CPCWHS1001 Prepare to Work Safely in the Construction Industry (White Card)

Prepare to work safely in the construction industry is also known as White Card training. Current Work Health & Safety (WHS) Legislation requires all employees that either work in the Construction Industry or enter any building or construction site, to be trained in WHS in the workplace. Upon successful completion of the course you will be issued with a SafeWork NSW Statement of Training which allows you to work in the Construction Industry immediately.

This delivery model is great for those people living in remote areas where travel is excessive or if you are still concerned about being in close proximity to other people in a classroom scenario. Course assessment:

Theory assessment – multiple choice/short answer questions

Practical assessment – work activities performed throughout the elements of the unit in group discussions and workplace scenarios. These activities provide the evidence needed by the trainer to grant each participant competency in the required elements.
