Working Safely at Heights – Online Safety Training

Working Safely at Heights – Online Safety Training

Prerequisite
As this is a safety course you will be required to provide evidence of prior completion of RIIWHS204E – Work Safely at Heights or equivalent qualification before you can commence the training. This should be in the form of your USI transcript that shows the relevant qualification. https://www.usi.gov.au/usi-vet-transcripts/students-and-their-vet-transcripts

Course Overview
The Working Safely at Heights Online  course is designed for individuals who ideally have previously completed the nationally recognised unit of competency RIIWHS204E – Work Safely at Heights and need to maintain their current competency, or for those individuals with a comprehensive understanding of safely working at heights. Whilst a certificate of competence issued by an RTO for a nationally recognised competency technically never expires, the Australian Working at Heights Association (WAHA) strongly recommends that re-certification of a Safe Work at Height Training course should occur every 2 years.

This self-paced online course allows participants to gain and update their theoretical knowledge and awareness of current legislation, risk control measures, and best-practice procedures for working safely at height — without the need to attend a full face-to-face course.

Who Should Complete This Course
This training is ideal for workers, supervisors, and contractors who:

  • Perform tasks where there is a risk of falling from one level to another.
  • Already hold a Statement of Attainment in RIIWHS204E – Work Safely at Heights.
