Enter and Work in Confined Spaces – Basic

RIIWHS202E Enter and Work in Confined Spaces – Basic

Course Overview

The Enter and Work in Confined Spaces Online course is designed for individuals who ideally have previously completed the nationally recognised unit of competency RIIWHS202E – Enter and Work in Confined Spaces and need to maintain their current competency, or for those individuals with a comprehensive understanding of confined space entry and safe work practices.

Whilst a certificate of competence issued by an RTO for a nationally recognised competency technically never expires, industry expectations, employer requirements, and site procedures often require workers to refresh their knowledge and demonstrate current competency on a regular basis.

This self-paced online course allows participants to gain and update their theoretical knowledge and awareness of current WHS legislation, confined space hazards, risk control measures, permit requirements, atmospheric monitoring, communication procedures, emergency response requirements, and best-practice procedures for entering and working safely in confined spaces — without the need to attend a full face-to-face course.
