Preventing Bullying and Harassment Awareness Course.
Create a positive work environment for everyone.
Everyone has the right not to be bullied or harassed at work. Acts and regulations are in place which prohibit such behaviour. Through various scenarios, you will learn what bullying, discrimination and harassment are, and how to respond appropriately.
Overview
Workplace bullying is a risk to your health and safety. ‘Health’ is defined in the WHS Act as both physical and psychological health. Workplace bullying can occur wherever people work together and in all types of workplaces. It is best dealt with by taking steps to prevent it from occurring and responding quickly if it does occur. The longer the bullying behaviour continues, the harder it becomes to repair working relationships and the greater the risk it is to health and safety. This course provides guidance and information on how to manage the risks of workplace bullying and harassment.
