Heat Stress Awareness Course
Heat Stress and related illnesses are a common issue that needs to be thoroughly managed, this course has been developed to inform you about the effects of heat stress and heat related illness and how to minimise the risks of heat stress and identify the signs and symptoms that may be experienced when affected by a heat related illness.
Overview
Throughout the delivery of this course, you will be made aware of the workplace health and safety risks and hazards associated when working in very hot conditions.
The course will address:
- what heat stress is
- how to minimise the heat stress risk
- what the signs and symptoms look like
- what to do in the event that you are suffering from heat stress
To successfully complete this training module successfully you must ensure you complete the entire content in the sequence that it is presented. At the end of the course you will receive via email a certificate of completion.
